As treatment progresses, you switch aligners bi-monthly, so your teeth move a little more with every change. The length of your treatment depends on the severity of your case, and can take anywhere from a few months to two years.

Entirely Removable!
While traditional braces are permanently bonded to your smile, SureSmile aligners are completely removable. This allows you to take them out when you are eating, drinking, flossing or brushing. Clear aligners help you maintain good oral hygiene!
Faster Treatment Time!
Clear aligners can decrease treatment time by up to 40% in some cases over traditional braces. Improved Comfort & Esthetics! No more uncomfortable metal mouth!
1) Consultation
Dr. Walker will examine your smile and determine if your issues and concerns can be addressed with aligners.
2) Records Appointment
We use cutting-edge 3D scanning software to create a digital model of your teeth with no need for goopy impressions! The digital scans are then sent out to SureSmile, where a team of engineers and specialized orthodontists work with Dr. Walker to create a custom treatment plan to reach your goals. Once he approves your design, the aligners will be fabricated and shipped to our office.
3) Aligner Delivery
During your next visit, Dr. Walker will ensure the aligners are a great fit. He will place any attachments that are needed, and give instructions on how to care and maintain your aligners.
4) Periodic Visits
Regular visits to the office will allow Dr. Walker to track your progress and make adjustments as needed. Not wearing your aligners for the recommeded 22 hours a day could extend your treatment time.
5) Final Retainers
Once done with your last set of trays, we evaluate if you are happy with your new smile. If satisfied, we debond any buttons, and scan for your final, thicker retainers.
6) Enhancing Your Smile
Once your teeth are in their proper final positions, you can talk to Dr. Walker about other treatments to enhance your smile. Polishing off any chips or imperfections in your teeth, veneers or composite bonding, professional whitening, botox, and other solutions could improve your smile with your new teeth position.
Am I a good candidate for Sure Smile Aligners?
While SureSmile can correct many orthodontic concerns, braces are a much more powerful option, that might be a better solution for certain cases of severe misalignment. SureSmile is great for individuals with mild to moderate crowding, good oral hygiene, and who will stay compliant in wearing your trays for the recommended 22 hours a day.
